Year 9 Asset Languages Exams

Year 9!  Your Asset Languages exams take place very soon. You will sit listening and reading exams in French and in German.  You should now be revising vocabulary on a range of topic areas.  Download revision lists here:

Farewell to our MFL Assistants

At the end of May we said goodbye to Laura Piquereau and Henning Host who have been our French and German language assistants for the last 8 months. They have been taking students regularly out of lessons in small groups to give them more practice in speaking and have coached GCSE students at lunchtimes. We are very grateful to them for all their work in school and the extra dimension they have given to language learning as our students have gained greater insight into the customs and way of life in La Rochelle and Cologne.

 

 On the last day of term the MFL department said goodbye to them over a cream tea.
